Matter of Chance Productions is a Phoenix, AZ-based film and video production company. Since our founding in 2004, we have completed twenty-three short films, with a number of films in production. Our films have won awards in nearly every category, including writing, directing, acting, cinematography, editing, and more. Matter of Chance is dedicated to producing thought-provoking films that explore the nooks and crannies of human behavior and contemplate social issues. Days of Being Wrinkle Free News 06 Feb 2010 - The Phoenix Film Festival has selected The Sweet Science for their 2010 program. Screening dates and times to come. 05 Nov 2009 - The Cave Creek Films & Arts Festival will screen Wildlifeless and The Sweet Science as part of a fund-raiser on Thursday, January 14, 2010. The 13 semi-finalists from the 2009 festival will be screen from 7-9pm at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center, 33606 North 60th Street, Scottsdale. Tickets are $5 at the door, proceeds benefit the 2010 festival. 03 Nov 2009 - Matter of Chance competed in the Almost Famous Film Festival One-Shot Challenge in October. This challenge required us to make a film in just one shot, and incorporate the provided guidlines. The result is a self-titled film, Matter of Chance. The film netted an Outstanding Performance Award for Gabriel Loyer, a Most Ambitious One-Shot award, and placed 4th overall out of 21 films. 17 Sep 2009 - IFP/PHX will be screening Days of Being Wrinkle Free at their September Cinema Lounge. The screening is Friday, September 25, 2009, 5:30pm, at the Metro Arts Theatre, 1700 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85007. More info on the Cinema Lounge page. Filmmakers will be in attendance. 30 Jul 2009 - The Feel Good Film Festival has selected Days of Being Wrinkle Free for participation in an online film festival that will send one winning film to their festival to take place in Hollywood August 7-9, 2009.
